The Trump Taj Mahal Casino was designed by a team of architects led by Paul Steelman, with consulting by architect Joel Bergman. The construction was carried out by HRH Construction, based in Las Vegas. The casino opened in 1990 and was a property of the Trump Organization until 2016, when it was sold to Hard Rock International.
